Hello there. I've searched through the forums and I couldn't find an answer to this question, so I thought I'd post it here.

I'm reading through the process for getting the $50 of poker money deposited and I came across

      Step 3: Enable Information Sharing

During the registration process you will be asked to accept the information sharing agreement. Only if you enable this option, you will be able to receive the $50 and we will receive information about the StrategyPoints you have earned.

      My question is twofold.

      1) What kind of information will I be sharing with pokerstrategy.com and
      2) What will you do with the information?

      Just curious.

Well afaik its to see how much your playing/raking so you can gather strategy points. If you don't enable that they can't tell how much you rake so therefor you cannot gain strategy points.

      Hey Darwinter,

Welcome to PokerStrategy.com and the Community.

As MatejM47 said, we need you to allow this option so PokerStars.com tracks how much you have raked so they can send us the information so we can than transfer this information into PokerStrategy.com Points so you can earn them.
All information is confidential anyway but It has nothing to do with personal information.

      Regards,

      Kyle.
