If a tournament has multiple starting days or flights, how should we approach this?

I'm thinking about playing APPT Sydney Event 1 but I'm not sure how to take the multiple flights.
      November 29 - Monday
      12:30 1 Opening Event NLH (Flight 1) $1,100($1,000+$100)

      November 30 - Tuesday
      12:30 1 Opening Event NLH (Flight 2) $1,100($1,000+$100)

Can we assume there will be less runners in the second day/flight?

In general the last day gets the most players, especially if you run satellites on the other days as well. It's been like this in every tournament I played.

      What would u rather play?

Flight one with all the people that have just bought in and some online qualifiers.
Flight two with all the satellite qualifiers?

So in general what kind of players can we expect in each flights?
Would the sponsored pros play in the first or second?

lol @ the bombardment of questions ha

i imagine most if not all the out of town players (who are generally slightly better on average than the locals, otherwise why would they travel for a tournament) will play flight 2. so you should play flight 1. the same does not apply for every tournament.

other thing to consider is that australian/nz mondays are american sundays. so anyone half decent is probably grinding online that day -> play flight 1.

edit: in light of the second point the ev isn't actually close.
