I did not 3b pre as we are deep and I did not want to face 4b - is it a mistake?

As played, is the donk flop and turn line reasonable. Its hard to put villain on AK on the river so I called the half pot bet.

Is check/calling river better than betting myself - not much else than AJ that can call me...

I would likely still 3-bet, since QQ is quite strong hand and you can postflop that hand for stacks. Also player like 18/14 won´t really 4-bet there too often with AKor 4-bet bluff so if you get 4-bet it should be mostly KK/AA and if you don´t want to play for stacks you can consider folding. But that won´t really happen too often, since he opened at co
postflop: flop and turn are fine. You can consider c/c river, but I´d likely bet 15$ myself, he can call you down with any Jx, hand, smt like TT and you don´t have to face big bet yourself. Also good balance your bluffs if you lead out there smt like T8

Thanks, he had there AA - what do you think of his line? Should he raise at any point?

You are right, if I 3b pre and he 4b I can fold and lose less :)

He is definitely ahead, but if he raises and you 3-bet then he won´t really get all-in very often ahead, so I don´t mind his play just calling down and if you check then valuebet river
