      So I flop trips then sb shoves back should I be worried about my kicker and not have gone broke in that situation and others

      As long it's a freeplay pot and we haven't invested much into the pot I would just fold right there, even though they have a pretty small stack, safer to just fold, you are likely against 3x or even better hand.
