Yeah, I would raise flop most of the time. If villain has nothing he probably ch/fold turn often anyway. If villain has AQ+ hes never folding to a flop raise and we have the chance for 200bb pot which is what we should be aiming at.

Also, if he has AQ+ and turn is T/J he already gets nervous and less ready to invest a lot of his stack.

As played, I make it $15 on turn - villain is either giving up to turn raise or not but $2 difference here = extra $5 on river.

I dont think villain often has a set here - he should really be 3b turn most of the time.

On river, villain is bluff catching almost always - I think you can make him pay for his line with a bigger bet - maybe even $30. In my opinion, when they call on turn in this situation they usually intend to call river unless obvious draw hits

      GL
edit: by raising this flop we make it harder for opponents since we can have nuts or air - if you flat your monsters and raise your air villain will call you down lighter when you are raising. Finally, in 100bb pot you can flat flop more often, becuase with a raise on turn you can get stacks in - for 200bb the raise has to come earlier.

      Hello mrxLT,

As long we are so deep, I'd prefer to raise it also on flop. His CBet is way too small, most of the time he likely has a hand here. As played I would definitely raise a bit bigger on turn and bet bigger river, he is likely going to Call the raise or bet anyway.

      Best regards.
