SB posts SB £0.25, BB posts BB £0.50

      Pre Flop: (£0.75) Hero has Q:heart: A:heart:

Hero raises to £1.75, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB calls £1.25

      Flop: (£3.75, 2 players) 3:diamond: 8:diamond: Q:diamond:
BB checks, Hero bets £2.50, BB raises to £5.00, Hero calls £2.50

      Turn: (£13.75, 2 players) J:spade:
      BB checks, Hero checks

      River: (£13.75, 2 players) 2:club:
      BB bets £13.75, fold

Villain is very loose pre but I think quite passive post.
I don't think I can fold to his min raise on the flop. Then I check behind for pot control with the idea of calling a blank river (half pot) but he pot size bet.
      Fold vs this opponent?

He's not passive postflop, 40% Afq is a lot, especially with 43 VPIP.

You could 3bet the flop, but it's obviously quite thin.

I bet the turn to protect my hand, even though it would be funny (not really) to get check/raised again.

As played, easy call on the river.

      HI Falcone,

Since he is loose (VP43) he will have a decent AFq. But look at AF on flop, turn and river: 1.58,1.25,2.
That's why I still think fold is ok to a pot size bet. I mean these guys usually do that with strong hands.

3B Flop would be an option indeed. Don't I isolate myself to Flushes by doing so?

3-bet flop is very thin and I think he would then go all-in only with better hands or sometimes pair+draws that also have 50% equity against your hand
So I think b7c flop is quite standard
But I´d b/f turn and take my free showdown. players won´t really take c/r lines on the turn after they c/r flop and check turn, so you can b/f turn and take your free showdown.
As played: I guess fold is fine, since pot is mostly for value, but since draws missed I think call is also ok. never can be sure he isn´t potting river for value KQ/AQ
