      Hi,

Depending on Stats , you can raise the Flop and play it aggressively for value versus flushdraws, 76 and worser 8s.

I dont really like calling because you hate life if you see a , Ten, Jack, Queen and King so that is roughly 21 cards out of 45ish so 40-45%

As played ship the Turn for value against double flushdraw+FD, calling doesnt make sense because you only have 4$ left

      Best regards,
      Gerv

      Hi,

      As played:
I think these spots are nasty.
Calling is bad because of the wetness of the board.
But shipping is overplay imo. We are 6-handed and only have a pair of 8's.
Most of the time there is someone with set, 2-pair or a strong/combo draw when there is action.
So I think just folding flop is best to the 5/6 PSB donk from SB.

If SB checked, I'd like to take a PSB stab.

I'd rather ship it pre-flop, if I want to play the hand at all :f_biggrin:
We are a bit deep but there is enough dead money.

Well sure preflop jam is by far more +EV

Without statistics it is really hard to say what the optimal line is. Without statistics it looks more like a Rock,Paper, Scissor debate:

Callling looks sub-optimal because you dont protect, are 5 way and dont want to see a lot of cards on the Turn so you go to:

Raising but that also looks absurdly overplayed because besides crazy naked flushdraws and maybe K8, 99 - what will stack off? Then we go to

Folding but one has ToppairTK and are probably ahead against the majority of someone's range

Looking at stacksizes. 27bb is substantial bigger than 20bb so I would be more inclined to folding rather than raising.

If Hero had <22bb I would shove because only 22/55 and 1 combo of 88 means you are behind whilst crazy 43s, 77, Flushdraw+[BLOCKED]overcard can ship it in too.
