      Hello Backcushion,

The idea of playing back against him is fine although your way to play it back is pretty high variance. How many stats do you have on him, how many hnads? Do you expect him to barrel twice with air or weaker hand?

On such situation as we decided to Call the flop with GS+mid-pair and turn now pairs and he seems to bet weaker after that you could easily just Call there also or even push against some kind of draw if he is such an aggressor and playing a lot back against you, I wouldn't give there up.

      Best regards.
