Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.02/$0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

      Known players:
      CO (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9, A.
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.20, BU folds, SB calls $0.18, BB folds.

      Flop: ($0.45) T, K, 7 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.30, SB calls $0.30.

      Turn: ($1.05) J (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks.

      River: ($1.05) 8 (2 players)
SB bets $2.50(All-In), Hero calls $2.50.

      Final Pot: $6.05.
      Results follow:

      Hero shows a straight, jack high(9 A).
      SB shows a straight, ace high(A Q).

SB wins with a straight, ace high(A Q).

Q9 and AQ beats me here, i thought he would have raised AQ before(how does he want to get any value or not bust against my possible flush) so i kind of put him on a set or two pair, was wrong... was the river call really that bad? what would veriz do?

      Hello matusko,

Since we haven't invested much into the pot and the opponent would never shove there with only two pairs or set, he often does have there at least 9x but usually even better, such moves tend always to be nuts. So however I would fold there. So ask yourself is it even worth to Call just to see a split or often against even a better straight.

      Best regards.
