UTG raises to $1.75, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls $1.50, fold

      villain 16/12/3 wts 21, 1.3k hs. Cbet 61%, Turn cb 22%.
Given villains stats, is this a reasonable way to play our hand oop? i.e. can we assume villain is never barrelling worse on the turn?

any other ways to play this hand? (If we do not wish to just fold pf)

If villain checks behind on the turn, what is your line for a blank River? value bet or check with the expectation that villain never calls us with worse?

      Thanks

my standard play is lead flop and turn and then likely c/f river
Not sure this is the most optimal lane, but against standard abc player would not raise my lead with air, since I take that line in his eyes also with AQ+ and I basically don´t get blown off by better hand
yeah, turn barrel is quite nasty. Mostly instructors suggest if players would barrel flushdraws on the turn they should also continue on the river, so i guess river bet would be there quite often and if you call turn you should call river, but given his bet size I think he is also just betting once and then take his free showdown smt like JJ or QTs, so if you want it is also very reasonable line to c/r turn and shove river :D (although I would never play that way:) )

If villain checks turn I´d valuebet river around 5$. Don´t expect to get called too many worse hands, also don´t expect bluffed too many times if I check river, so I can´t really c/c also. He may call us down with 99/88 or strong 7x

You're playing a nit that never barrels without a hand.

      Easy fold on the turn.

Against this guy leading flop would be bad, because you will sooo often get a cbet from him and then get a free showdown.

In general leading flop is not bad though.
