      Hi,
      Preflop: you can call 88 here but also can 3bet them because hard to play OOP without initiative and extract value with set.Also hard to play 88 as a pair oop.

      Later in the hand you can play as played but you missing value a lot and give him chance to outdraw you.Leading aka donkbeting would be another option.I would check/raise only known aggressive blindstealer who barrels often.

      Preflop: Nah, Calling here is totally fine, I like it.
      Flop: Sometimes I would even consider donking out myself here since a lot of overcards could give you value.

      As played
      Turn: You can likely Check/Call and hopefully if he checks behind then likely bet for value on river.
