Im playing with no HUD so no stat reads on villlian. But his reggish name and the fact he's deep at rush leads me to believing he is a reg.

Please share your thoughts on the hand, you have to give a reason that can be judged.

      Agreed.

In a vacuum your shove on the river looks pretty wild (bad) to me. I think you need a pretty good reason to risk 178bb to win 127bb with no outs, no reads and no stats.

What assumptions are you making about villains range this deep, pre? I would say he can profitably call your raise with ATC, even out of position, given the massive impieds. This includes hands like 9Ts. So there is no way to say with certainty that villain cant have the stone cold nuts here.

      Hi,

I'd fold preflop in FR with J9o.
As played: Contibet on flop looks good.
Check behind on turn is mandatory, as you don't want to get raised off your hand that deep.
As played: Fold on river is mandatory, as villain has at least 5x, or set which he won't fold to your shove.

      What did he have?

      Best regards,
      Anin

3-bet is reasonable, but again you should need some stats before you do that. Postflop play on the flop and turn is fine, but I would also fold to river bet.
Players don´t expect you to 3-bet pf with 5x or 9T so I think they are mostly leading out hands that can beat AK on the river, which means they would also very often also call the shove and if you think he is bluffing smt like 99/TT you can also raise 25$ and likely have the same result

Yeah, I thought myself about the raising to like $25 rather than shoving afterwards - its the much better option.

My thouhghts are that I don't expect him to ever have a 5th given how the action has gone and just his bet looks so wek and I just tried to attack it. Probably a bit stupid. Didnt have stats cos no HUD.

      He had AK lol.

Villains donk/call is so retarded. Or brilliant. Not sure which.
