I recently started playing PLO SH at 0.01/0.02 on PokerStars. I've been running at 38 bb/100 for around 1300 hands.

The bankroll management says 5000 big blinds (50 BI at 100bb per BI), which means I need to hit $250 to move up? (the next limit is 0.02/0.05)
I'm currently at $126, mostly from FL/NL/SNGs. (only $19 from PLO)

I know its a small sample size of hands, but I play 2 tables at a time, sometimes just one. So it's quite a few hours =O
I've also 8-tabled FL 0.05/0.1 with just 30 BI. I'm also a consistent winning player, with positive numbers in FL, NL and SNGs.

What BR should I have before I can move up to 0.02/0.05?

1300 hands isn't really enough to say whether or not you're beating the game. :f_biggrin:

That said you can always move up and shortstack to start with. If things go bad for you move back down at $100. The small stakes are generally really soft so if you are learning strategy you should have very few downswings even for omaha. People will quite happily stack off while dominated. :f_grin:

If you want to move up a limit feel free to do so if (in my opinion):
1.) you don't mind moving back down to avoid going broke
      2.) you don't mind redepositing

Other than that, it all depends how "scared money" you are. Some people don't move up unless they have 200BIs others move up at 15 or less. If you want to avoid going broke more than anything else, then wait for those 50BI, mybe even 100BI :) .

I would say if you want to move up, move up, but make stop loss like 20$ and if you loose 20$ move down. Or you can make other rule if you want, it all depends on you.

      Thanks for the answers =)
Will put in more hours soon...

Just wondering, would Full Tilt be a better choice because of the rakeback?
I average up to 75 PokerStrategy Points a month, so does it really make a difference?

since the rake is huge at micro stakes omaha, rakeback makes a ton of difference.

you are way better off at fulltilt unless you are paying less rake at stars to begin with (I think you do but I'm not sure)

it's not about the %, it's about rake/100 that hits your winrate, and it's way bigger at omaha than at nl holdem.

Question is: I have $120 on PS at the moment, would $80 help or would that be better invested on two sites?

So I should technically move to FT, but I don't have BR there =/
And yes, I do pay a lot in rake - all the all-ins create a large rake (For example, if its HU and we go all in for a pot of $5, there is a rake of $0.25)
So 10% of profits, and all ins happen very frequently.

at stars u pay 2% less rake at the micros..thats something worth considering if u play to play alot of hands..at 100k hands rush i was calculating smt like 400$ loss coz of that 2% comparing to stars rake(or any other site that has 5%) for example.

Though this is balanced by the fact you get 27% rakeback at full tilt and stars micros the rakeback is around 9% for bronze or silver VIP level. :f_biggrin:
