Will let the graph speak for itself! Started on $50, worked up my deposit bonus to $100 grinding NL5/10 then moved to NL25 with just 8 buyins 2 tabling ready to drop down @ 150.. appear to be running hot at NL25. The jumps in the graph are occasional shots at NL50/100/400 (the last spike is NL400, had a sick hand, was just degenning tho!).

So yeah, 37 hours, 16k hands and $1k. About $600 of this was NL25 though.. appear to be running hot and think I am better then I am; hence the shots. Notably the nonSD winnings.. alot of the articles on here have helped me drastically improve my nonSD winnings (into the positive!) and up my winrate significantly =) Not even kidding there.. I might look like a fish on a heater but trust me for the past few years learning about poker has always taken heed over actually PLAYING poker. Considering I am mainly a live player (we have VERY soft cash games here in Scotland, ie Saturday night $750 in a 3 hour session; drunk recreational players...) the Internet dynamic really interests me and I would LOVE to be able to grind online for a decent income.. but dont worry.. I know I still have a long way to go before that ever becomes an option!

One thing I would like to stress is the amount of TAG guys all playing the exact same style grinding 1BB/100 over huge amounts of volume.. I think if these guys were to sit and work on their game they could do far better. Its like; a fish limps; reg isolates; I squeeze the reg; take down the dead money pre/on a cbet. A style which can exploit fish whilst exploiting the regulars these days seems to be how you might be able to actually achieve a better winrate then the normal. Obviously we will see how my "style" plays in the longrun over a larger sample (dont get me wrong.) but I am really trying to avoid playing the exact same style as every other reg at any given limit.

Basically going to keep working on my game at NL25, move to NL50 when I hit 1300-1500ish probably or take a few shots 4 tabling it a bit earlier depending on mood. Need to keep drilling into my head; stick to BRM; stick to my A-GAME; zero tilt!

      CU in 3 months for either a $5k graph or $0. :D

PS: Missing about 4k hands or so from this graph played when I was stranded in the snow stuck in a hotel for a few days.. should be +4k hands or so and $+130ish. Need to import the HHs off my laptop at some point.. but oh well.. just adds to the heat I guess =)

Congratulations on your winnings, that's really massive! But, as you no doubt have expected, I have to drop a comment about your BRM. No matter how soft you think the games are, it's never a good idea to take shots at limits you only have 3BI or so for. And in retrospective it's pretty easy to admit you were on a heater and say you'll go cold turkey on your bad habits, but way harder to actually do. I just hope the fact that you took a shot and won will not encourage you to attempt something similar in the future, as it most likely won't work out that well again.

Thanks for the words and trust me mate, I know, I have run good even at normal limits ($650 from NL25 in 10k hands is pretty strong..) and the shots could have gone horribly wrong (even though I was only at NL400 due to a midstack fish open limping every pot; calling iso OOP and c/f 90% of boards..) Luckily managed to take $200ish off him in a couple of hands. Could have gone wrong though and just because I have been lucky so far I will _not_ fall into these habits and I am taking it as a sign from the "pokergods" to further improve and _not_ go broke!

The luck has to even out at some point and I would much rather it was @ NL25 with a 5BI stoploss then 2 BIs @ 400. I was just going to mention aswell that table selection is a pretty large part of my game atm; I am literally leaving any table after 30 hands or so if there are no real weak players to exploit.

G casino in Dundee; £1/1 blinds cash game running more or less every weekend from about 8pm through to 8am.. think it runs other nights also but is definitely at its softest on a Friday/Saturday night. Some regulars, but the regs are extremely poor anyway and take an extreme disliking to anyone who isnt regular and is winning. Guy actually stood up and slammed the table when I got it in with oesfd vs his "overpair" and he said "nice suckout", when I have fold equity 4bet broking on the flop representing a set etc and I was actually a favourite which I soon showed him on an app on my phone ;) Though he wasnt happy!

Sure; heres my graph including AI-EV (which isnt really that great at determining a heater; I mean.. calling 3bets 150-200bbs deep and flopping a set and stacking someone isnt exactly going to affect AI-EV and part of the reason my winnings are so high/hand ratio is due to this!).

I like this thread. if you actually manage to get to 5k over like 100k hands you will destroy everything that pokerstrategy has been trying to teach for so long, to be a TAG etc. But I have to agree now that everyone plays the same way at the atbles (specially cash game)

Your EV line is not even that bad.

      My guesses are
      a) you are extremly lucky just happens to have the cards when you need them
      b) what you are doing is working
      c) you will be busto in 2 weeks

P.S : I would not try this myself but hey, if it works great. but when all the regs will have stats about you 3betting#4 betting light you might get killed

That 200$-300$ straight up line is just sick funny too.

there is no logic in that, if one player gets luky it doesnt mean everybody will these things happen but its not a winning formula to just jump into the highest stakes possible with your bankroll,

you dont always need to pick a ostentasious strategy,
