Dear all, let me have the chance to star my blog also here in the english commnunity.

I moved to Vienna this year in April and this was a big change in my poker "career". First at all I meet a lot of new people, and between my coulleges there are some online experts, which gave me a big boost.

Im not a grinder, since im working, I can only play after work and at free time, so right now I dont have huge plans about 20k hands per month. I didnt stopped playing in real: beside work I go 2-3-4 times per week to casinos and play tournaments, which is a very nice profit and income beside my salary. The biggest real tournament was definetly the EPT ladies event last mont here in Vienna.

I will write about playing in real casinos cuz its just supernice and so many funny stories happening...and ofc some private stuff, like freak weekend parties in Vienna with Ash, TwiceT and all the people who are brave enough to join us (just as an example: we shipped so hard TwiceT-s LoC winning party that i broke my arm :f_mad: )

where did the graph go, i liked the baller graph from 0,40 to 9$ :P
but its good to focus on the long run anyways.

keep posting hands with detailed analysis like this, its good to see that u start considering way more factors like position, villains type of play, chipstacks, ... and that u try to have a gameplan for each street.

stay honest to yourself and keep pointing out when u feel that u made a mistake at one point. we want to learn from our faults and diminsh them as much as possible.

      Lets crush the micros :)

PS: the Q high call is still super sick :f_cool: this cant be learned, its pure guts. i like.

finally some more hands, it was about time. good that u started to post some, this will push your game even faster :s_cool:

ok, lets get straight to the point:

      hand 1:
pretty standard against a player with this stacksize. i like the betsizing, u set up the whole hand perfectly that u can get stacks in on the river easily.

lets assume villain has 100bb, we should still bet for value on the river. if we get c/r than we should fold if we dont have any additional reads. but we should try to get out some more value out of some hands like KQ, KT, some underpairs like TT or 99, or sdrawing hands that just made a pair on the river JTs, J9s

      hand 2:
well played, on this type of board he will have many floating hands, cause u will be cbetting with your whole range here.

since there is a draw out there, i could see myself betting on the turn, to protect against some fds, and to not give a free card to some random unpaired floats. we are ahead here quite often, so we can also consider it as some kind of vbet ;)
other than that, it protects us from not getting donked into, so we dont have to guess on the river if he just made a pair, or vbets his underpair.
      both lines have their merit.

      hand 3:
nice set up, i just wanna add that i like the line u took. it just looks very fishy sometimes and is a good value line, if he has some Ahigh hands or some lower pairs which he wants to potcontrol. so we squeeze extra value out of them. in this case it went in anyways :)

      hand 4:
hmm, what more can i say than: fucking nice hand!!! :s_cool:
under these conditions theres not much to say about it, but straight flushes are always a nice present, not only at this time of the year.

lets assume again that villain has a full stack. than we should probably opt to raise it already on the flop. i know that we have the board crushed, but in case he has a good hand as well, we dont want him to slow down if a scare card comes. and on this board basically everything is a scare card, not as crazy as in PLO though ;)
he raised UTG, so lets give him a strong range. there are deffo some players who would get it in on the flop with an OP, but could get scared of almost everything that could pop up on the turn. also we want to build a pot, to get stacks in.

ok, that was the quick analysis.
hope u keep posting some hands. if you have some that gave you some trouble/headache, that would be even better.

and maybe someone else has something to say, its been a while since i really played nlhe and it may be that i got rusty in hand reading ;)

      the more comments the better.

I was entering a nice poker action with the Mindfuckers crew, around christmas. Some memorial of the evening:

Ash05 and Frank the tank suited stalking the action:

TwiceT thinks on the board, but what could Andy think?

      r4zor111 and ghostbuster

      Point of view

      Ash05 like a real pro

TwiceT seems to be a bit tight

epic night with cool people and some crazy action :)

      The line up:

      TwiceT
Sponsored player TT coming to our game is like Chris Moneymaker coming back to play penny poker with his old friends in the garage. He got everyone covered bought in with 3000bb, his new nick is now Tommynator.

      Frank the tank suited
the best kept secret, and sickest unknown live player in vienna. he will bluff the living hell out of you, while taking the last slice of pizza and makes u watch him eat.

      ghostbuster
The man with a licence to look directly into your heart and soul. he saves people's lifes during the day, but at night when the shades are down, he chooses to crush them.
      hello, 5th pair call after a big c/r :P

      r4zor111
mr. i dont have any momentum, i will play later. did u even played a hand? ;)

      mancikaa
you better watch out, she attacks silent and elegant like a panther, with her claws aimed directly at your chips. if you dont react in time, she will take em regardless. May the fours be with you ;)

      dominici
his talks make u fold when he wants it too, and make you call with the worst when u actually would have instafolded. this guy is always on a "roll" ;)

      smush
always aware of his image, shows you the ice cold bluff, and plays it cool like nothing happened. no wonder why he's so fresh.

      andyandi
the ultimate betting machine, his aggression knows no limits. nuff said.

...and what can we say about Ash05? :)
with a joker smile on his face, he builds up his bluff so nice that you even dont realise whats happening. While filling your glass with some vodka+orange combo he is actually just try to get closer to your chips, to get them all before himself. When he is around, we should stand up a caution board like on the shores: Shark danger :s_cool:
