      Grabbed by Holdem Manager
      NL Holdem $0.10(BB) Replayer
      SB ($10.99)
      BB ($10.15)
      Hero ($11)
      UTG+1 ($10)
      CO ($40.55)
      BTN ($10.82)

      Dealt to Hero K:club: K:heart:

Hero raises to $0.35, fold, fold, BTN raises to $0.90, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.55

      FLOP ($1.95) 8:heart: 9:club: J:club:

Hero checks, BTN bets $1.50, Hero calls $1.50

      TURN ($4.95) 8:heart: 9:club: J:club: 7:diamond:

Hero bets $2.10, BTN calls $2.10

      RIVER ($9.15) 8:heart: 9:club: J:club: 7:diamond: 4:diamond:

Hero bets $2.50, BTN calls $2.50

      Villain - 13/4/0% 3bet/1.8AF (187 sample)

so I'm pretty much "fml, AA" obv :P

so I decide to call and play the board basically ...
if A falls, I get out cheap - if not ... evaluate the board

On this drawy board I decide to donk out to control the size of the pot myself and since he isn't very aggro, he should be just calling me down and this scary board ... That way I get to showdown as cheap as possible and save $$ vs AA.

So vs this opp I actually think my life is easier post flop even OOP coz shipping it pre vs those stats would be plain ugly.

      Hello StaticMoth,

I see your point and I agree but the question is how we have to play our hand then? That we wont lose whole stack, it will be hard to do so, only way is as you picked the line, blockbetting smallish, we were lucky that the board was kinda dangerous and he didn't raise us because of that. So we saved like $3 and did he have AA here?

      Best regards.

Luckily 187 hand sample is still not enough to draw definite conclusions
and he did have QQ there.

That's the point why I'd just play for stacks, even with 200 hands you see that such nits could easily 3bet preflop with QQ. Just the reason is that in most of the cases we will be playing in too big pots and we will be all-in on river anyways, just this time it was pretty lucky that we could make the blockbets and he didn't raise.

True ... but vs a nit - wouldn't it be the case of isolating myself vs better hands?

If he goes broke, he has AA and he folds all the rest ...
Though yeah, we don't know whether he's capable of folding QQ there.

Even so, I'd feel just so dirty when this ubernit shoves on my 4bet.

I like playing such lines as you picked when we have position over them, then sure why not but being OOP, I don't like that much. Also I expect him to go broke there anyways, at least Call our 4bet.
