Villain unknown - that's the bad part about this I guess :f_biggrin:

Just want to get some comments if this makes sense or is it -EV (though I think the only -EV part about it is that I made this play vs an unknown)

I can't see him having very many solid hands so I might have some SD value but I decided to just turn it into a bluff ... whatever he has there is very likely weak ...

turn small raise could be that I made my weird st8 or that the backdoor FD is coming in, maybe I have set even ... if he had a set he would've gotten it in there ...

So river also brings the backdoor in ... so now he has to be real scared
Every hand he has turns into a hero call.

He would mostly fold to your river bet, not really because he afraid flush too often, but the way you played it, you tend to have there quite often set/straight/two pair and he can´t call you down with overpair

Don ´t really like flop float too often that much without any equity, so I think better is just raise small to 2.75$ or fold to c-bet, since you can´t call down if he barrels turn and basically hopes he would fold if you raise turn or bet strong on the river.
