Hero wins with three-of-a-kind, aces (Ah 2c)

On the river here I thought that only a better A would call. And he most likely had a draw that would fold to any sized bet on river.

Are there enough 9x, 7x, 6x hands that might have picked up a draw on the turn that would call a bet on the river often enough to justify a value bet?

      Hello Jeffers16,

Since it's freeplay pot I'd often even prefer to go for pot control on turn but obvious betting the turn is sometimes also fine against some calling stations. On river it's close but according to the opponent I don't mind just Checking behind, although against some stations you could also bet since I see a lot value from 9x, 7x and maybe even some PPs.

      Best regards.
