here's a hand that i've put into the ICM calulator and got confused by the results...

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $150/$300 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

      Known players:
      BB:
      $892.00
      MP2:
      $2360.00
      MP3:
      $760.00
      CO:
      $2130.00
      BU:
      $1980.00
      SB (Hero):
      $5378.00

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, 7.
      MP2 folds, MP3 raises to $760.00(All-In), 2 folds, Hero ...

according to the calulation here's the range with which i should call his push:
      38.5%: 22+, A2s+, A4o+, K2s+, KTo+, K8o-K7o etc.

can somebody please explain me why K9o seems to be worse than K7o in that spot??? I understand why A5 is better than A6 but the above one is a mystery to me, especially that K9 can make a straight using both cards...

is that a bug or i'm missing something?

any help will be very much appreciated!

I don't see why K9o would be worse than K8o.

In the Nash calculator, there isn't a gap like that, but I don't know whether that is hardwired into the ranges considered.

The calculators try to approximate the Nash equilibrium, but sometimes the algorithms have difficulty and don't get as close to the Nash equilibrium in the iterations used. So, occasionally you will see inconsistent ranges.

The given result is from PS ICM Trainer. As pzhon said, in the Nash calculator at holdemresources.net the result is slightly different, with no gaps.
