Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.1/$0.25 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      BB (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, 8.
      4 folds, MP3 calls $0.25, 2 folds, SB calls $0.15, Hero raises to $1.50, MP3 calls $1.25, SB folds.

      Flop: ($3.25) J, 7, 6 (2 players)
      Hero bets $2.00, MP3 raises to $8.00, Hero raises to $8.50, MP3 calls $0.50.

      Turn: ($20.25) J (2 players)

      River: ($20.25) 3 (2 players)

      Final Pot: $20.25.

I want to confirm that the AI call on flop is ok, I was pretty sure his hand beat me even though I was sure if he had made a hand, I more than likely
have clean 9 outs (possibly 12 with hands like J9+),

I have no fold equity so I have to put $6.5 for $13.75 pot so just over 2:1, I think the call AI is +ev with 9 outs already as I only need about 33% equity. stats are not very relevant as only 2/11 raise c/bet and 5/11 fold.

With a double stack here i probably check the BB with the suited ace, raising only helps to isolate us against stronger hands and since we are usually going to be OOP the entire hand, i'd rather keep the pot small at this stage.

as played, the flop cbet really depends on your reads on villain, since we don't really have enough hands here i probably check on the flop and either check call or check shove depending on his bet size.

now... if we assume that we only had a 20bb stack here, i have no problem shipping it in on the flop, as the stack to blind ratio makes this a much more profitable play for us ;)

      OP plays MSS ;)

If you think MP3 bets a lot when you check then check/jam is also viable. By default bet/jam is obvious +EV

      UL you didnt hit

      Best regards,

he had 44 so actually had 15 outs but I wasn't hoping for that much and I think with most of his range i would not have been that lucky anyway
