hi,guys, preflop play question in low limits

against a raiser and a caller,we have suited connector or small pair at small blind.

Can we cold call the raise? is this a profitable play in a long run?

You are in bad position, you aren't getting much of a discount, and you aren't closing the action since the big blind could 3-bet. You will often end up with a bluff-catcher, one low pair you can't bet for value. Unless there is some reason you are drawn into the pot, such as a maniac who will help you to get paid off when you hit, you should lean toward folding those from the small blind. They may be playable from the big blind, so it's not a total disaster to call, but I think you will typically lose money if you try to play them from the small blind.

Depends very much on the positions of the players. For example, If raiser is in steal position you can easily call 44+ on SB and 89s+.This easily goes even further but it depends on how bad these guys are postflop(usually the guy coldcalling a raise is bad so there will usually be at least 1 bad player there) and also how good your postflop knowledge is.
