i had AQ. Thought he can do this with a flush draw. If he has a boat why does he have to push on turn ?

Villian is 22/18, just got me broke on another AQ vs 88 hand on a A84 board some hands ago. I really dont like this situation at all, but what's the +EV play? calling or fold? folding flop or turn ??

I think you have two options:
      - either folding flop which is fine since you lost big pot to the SB or
      - callingh flop and then calling shove that card. He ahs no reason to shove 55 or AJ, so I think he would mostly show you draw.

Agree with kaitz. I also think he has some draws. It seems he's not betting for value. His shove looks like "fold please".

Sorry to barge in but I am curious if a light re-raise (like 2.5x his re-raise size) on the flop would have been better. If he has FD, I think he also might shove it on the flop since so much dead money right? If that's the case, I'll call his shove for sure.

problem re-raising flop is would he really shove there 67hh if we 3-bet to 11$. I think he either folds or maybe calling trying to hit his flush and hands that he is going anyway he doesn´t mind getting all-in on the flop.
So waiting to turn and then putting money all-in if draws miss (also then we have higher equity), seems better option ip. OOp 3-bet is better since then we don´t let him see any free cards
