I was at the table with a mega fish (he had 7BI btw) he was super agro and super stupid so i just wanted to wait for a nice hand and then stack him... after playing 2 hours i got to this hand....(I was playing 10/9 at that table I normaly play 24/22)

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

      Known players:
      SB (Hero):
      $15.86
      BB:
      $13.07
      MP2:
      $16.63
      MP3:
      $10.53
      CO:
      $10.83
      BU:
      $79.94

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, A.
MP2 raises to $0.30, 2 folds, BU calls $0.30, Hero raises to $1.40, 2 folds, BU calls $1.10.

      Flop: ($3.2) A, 6, J (2 players)
Hero bets $1.90, BU calls $1.90.

      Turn: ($7) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $5.20, BU calls $5.20.

      River: ($17.4) T (2 players)
Hero bets $7.36, BU calls $7.36.

      Final Pot: $32.12.
      Results follow:

Hero shows three of a kind, aces(A A).
      BU shows a straight, jack high(8 9).

BU wins with a straight, jack high(8 9).

I didnt come to cry, but its not very funny anymore, this completed my 11 BI downswing(?) is this like normal?

I started playing NL2, made it from 50 to 100 in some time, then started playing NL5 rush, ran pretty good made it to $200, got down to $150, started playing NL5 SH made it up to $400 after some time, then i started playing NL10 got to $550 a now this crazy 11 BI downswing, im am not that much under EV(only 4 BI) but probably running extremely bad (or maybe I just suck no idea), is this a normal swing at SH?

Like I dont care too much about the lost money or whatever, but I was just wondering if this happens also to good players? I know you can loose a lot if things arent going right and cant do much about it but this seems a little too much imo.

If anyone would like to sweat you can post here, would be glad. I do probably tilt a lot and I have a tendency to try to overplay everyone(I would call it maybe semi-maniac, i try a lot of fancy moves which is probably stupid on NL10, I think 99% never bluff 4bet, so when a guys 4bets me for the third time it probably isnt the best idea to ship JTs(bb stack) etc.) i play 24/22 atm. Also I feel im totaly owned in 4bet called pots, the ratio between stack and pot is so wierd, and I have little to no idea what people call 4bets with on NL 10(aces?).
I read all the silver and gold articles on PS, also I dont recommend new people to watch vids of NL100, people play so agro there, if u try that at the micros everbody is just giong to call you and you will get owned(my exp.).
Just some random thoughts put together.
OK, and one more thing, diamonds pls dont laugh :)

Well 11BI swing really isn't that big, it can get a lot worse then that even if you have decent winrates. Your EV doesn't really say much. Like the hand your posted it was -EV since HM doesn't count it as a suck out so generally you don't have to worry that much about EV.

Whats not true is that people on micro's don't fold anything. Some people fold way to much and some people don't fold anything. You just have to identify the player type. For example the guy that played this hand obviously doesn't fold anything so don't even try to bluff him.

What bothers me is you sad you played 10/9 on this table, when you should be playing super lose with such a player at the table, since you want to play as many pots with him as you can. His gonna lose his money sooner or later and you want him to lose it to you not one of the other 4 players waiting to stack him.

Like the hand you played. It doesn't really matter if you had AA or A2 since his calling down with 9high anyway. His also never folding a J or any type of pair probably. So you can easily valuebet thinly against him even with weak top pair or #2 pair hands. I guess what im trying to say is you don't have to wait for a monster to be ahead of his range since his probably playing any2cards :)

      thx for feedback,
I am aware of oponent types(at least I think so)... Against fish like him(=super agro, but also very light call downs, AI with ATs preflop etc) I like to really wait for something, I dont like getting into marginal spots like playing for 1,5 stacks with only TP. I find it high variance to do this because i might be like ahead of 65% of his range he is calling down with but he still could have better a lot of the time(i dont like the idea of playing for stacks with A2 even against him).

i found the answer to everything on the forums :D here it is:

Sorry mate but, start thread at 4 AM? It's Christmas. You just tilt last two weeks :D You should take a break from it. You should have left your notebook in Bratislava. Cmmon, it's time for ALGEBRA!!! You suck at it more than at poker. Balance it a bit...

      Mother

P.S. Or take a shot at bigger SnGs and pawn the set for 218.5% ROI
Then it's easy to stop playing when you don't want to spoil your Christmas balance...
