      Hello SPeedFANat1c,

      First of all, I think I would have made a bit bigger CBet, ~$0.80, at the moment yours is even less than 1/2. But of course on such board it's fine to 2nd barrel, since he will often give it up on turn. Also sometimes it's even better either to just Check behind the flop or either barrel 2 streets.

      Why is it good to check behind on such dry board with facecard against not too loose villain?

      It's since there are such specific opponents who have like fold to CBet 60% or even less. :P Against those we have often to take 2nd barrel or just Check behind flop and reevaluate turn. By that I mean either give it up or 2barrel. :) But of course have to have stats on the opponent for that. Against unknown I am mostly barreling such boards anyways, most of the time.
