      Hello nktns,

      Yeah, I don't mind such a play, I'd say nice hand! Against unknown I'd rather prefer to play passively with such a hand, and I expect to get paid of pretty often anyways, even being OOP.

      Best regards.

      Hey guys, sorry to barge in but I am curious why not just shove in at the flop? Given the odds and OOP:
      Board: 4s 8s 9h
      Dead:

      equity win tie pots won pots tied
      Hand 0: 52.736% 52.71% 00.03% 29744 15.00 { As9s }
      Hand 1: 47.264% 47.24% 00.03% 26656 15.00 { 88+, 44, JTs, 98s, 6s5s, JTo, 98o }

      The problem with that is that of course it would be possible, but sometimes it's just kinda hard to put him on a exact range, since we really don't know what kind of opponent he is. He could easily only sets only have there, and against those we don't get that great equity. Therefore sometimes even picking passively line and playing in smaller pots and just take the implied odds is safer. But I don't mind if to ship directly there, but we often wont get Called by such a range as you posted. Likely 2pair+ or some good combodraw.
