      Only 31 hands on him - vp/pfr 25/21 cbet the 1 flop previously seen as pfr.

      Expecting some stick over this one, how best should I be playing this ?

      3bet or fold pre.

      Check/raising flop is fine, but on the turn just make sure you commit yourself with your barrel. Make it 15-16 and call it off. Folding this much equity in a huge pot is pretty terrible. He can have KK/QQ too, so you have like 13 outs on average.

      BTW, versus some players you could c/r turn again, but that's pretty FPS w/o history.

      Hard to play this hand profitably from the blinds vs unknown without initiative. Raise it up or let it go.

      you can sometimes c/r, but instead of c/r I like leading flop and barrel sometimes good turn cards
      With your equity you have to b/c, since you can´t put him on set and against JJ-KK you have enough outs.
