Standard preflop raise and contibet on hit flop. I check turn when board paires and villain started to be aggressive. I probably should have folded immediately or call river. However, I considered him floating, so called the turn, but reevaluated on river and folded, even though second pair came for me. What is your opinion on this hand?

I've too little hands on villain, yet he seems to play sth. link 70/20/3.0.

      Hello meridius,

Preflop: I wouldn't say it's a standard Raise from SB with A9o. :) What do you want to hit? There aren't that many to hit either, also we are against such a station, who most likely doesn't fold to our CBets and we will never know where we stand, also we are playing against him OOP. Therefore I'd rather just give it up such hands.

      As played
Postflop: I'd say your play is perfectly fine, expect I'd Call the river also. He could still have a lot worse Ace there, which we beat with our top 2 pairs. Also take into consideration that he is maniac not a passive opponent. The 3.0 AF for 70 VPIP is very big.

      Best regards.
