Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.25/$0.5 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

      Known players:
      SB (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is SB with J, J.
      MP2 calls $0.50, 3 folds, Hero raises to $2.50, BB folds, MP2 calls $2.00.

      Flop: ($5.5) 2, 9, 8 (2 players)
      Hero bets $4.00, MP2 calls $4.00.

      Turn: ($13.5) A (2 players)
      Hero checks, MP2 bets $4.50, Hero ?

Villain is 64/9 over just 12 hands, so very likely a fish.

It's a small spot, but I feel like I'm usually completely lost in a spot like this.

What is the best play on the turn? I kind of want to bet the turn to get value from flush draws, 9x, but a lot of his flushdraws are AcXc so betting becomes pretty thin I guess. Can we bet for thin value here? What is the best play as played and what's the plan for the river?

You can b/f turn to 8$ and then c/c on blank river card, but I think going to showdown and calling down especially if he bets so small should also be fine.
You´re ahead enough times to call him down
