What am I doing wrong?

It seems like every time I open, I get at least 2 callers and 1 of them donks out when I've missed or have middle pair. I have to fold, but if I call, I have to fold to a second barrel:

      Full Tilt Poker $1 + $0.10 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t30/t60 Blinds - 9 players - View hand 1106519

      UTG+2: t3385 56.42 BBs
      MP1: t7565 126.08 BBs
      Hero (MP2): t5030 83.83 BBs
      CO: t2115 35.25 BBs
      BTN: t5950 99.17 BBs
      SB: t2830 47.17 BBs
      BB: t3550 59.17 BBs
      UTG: t720 12 BBs
      UTG+1: t3110 51.83 BBs

Pre Flop: (t90) Hero is MP2 with 8 :club: 8 :spade:
      3 folds, MP1 calls t60, Hero raises to t240, 3 folds, BB calls t180, MP1 calls t180

      Flop: (t750) A :diamond: T  9 :spade: (3 players)
      BB bets t120, MP1 calls t120, Hero calls t120

      Turn: (t1110) 6  (3 players)
BB bets t210, MP1 calls t210, Hero Folds

This seems to happen so much and the sick thing is, even if I'm 21/15 I wouldn't be able to get him to fold A2o because that's how fishy they are. So I just have to fold, and every hand I play goes Raise>Miss Flop>Fold, Raise>Miss>Fold, etc.

If this doesn't happen they call me in late pos. with worse hands and draw out on me, even when I have the best of it on the flop:

      1 fold, UTG+1 calls t60, Hero raises to t210, 3 folds, BTN calls t210, 3 folds

      Flop: (t570) T :diamond: 8 :club: J  (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets t240, Hero raises to t660, BTN calls t420

      Turn: (t1890) 9 :spade: (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      River: (t1890) 9 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets t800, BTN raises to t2590 all in, Hero folds, BTN shows J :diamond: 9 :club:

Now I know, yes I need to have patience and wait for big hands, but ofc when I have the nuts no one has anything. Whenever I cash in MTTs it's by winning like 15 hands total out of 300, by going all in as a massive favourite.

I know I have the wrong mindset, I keep thinking if they call on the flop they're about to draw out on me or they're slowplaying the nuts. I never feel like I'm betting for value because this happens so often. I have no confidence post-flop unless I have at least top2.

On the first hand, we play to hit a set nothing else we got 120 bb and we don't need to take a stupid risk.
We are calling for set value so we should check fold it. That's the variance we are making the right play and we can't do anything when they get "lucky". You should really focus on making a profit in the long run and not in a short period of time, this isn't a sprint this is more lika a marathon. You are obvious making the right play in the long run. It's nothing else we can do about it, it's the variance mate.

      Good luck at the tables.

Try to play out of position less often so there's less guesswork and take less risks until you get some confidence.

You're right. It just tilts me so much when they get "lucky" because I can't do anything at micro-stakes to get them to fold TPNK. Anyway, I guess I'll just have to grind it out. Thanks.

Yeah, I usually play IP I just hate the donking out when I miss. It's like what's the point in even raising if they're going to outflop me? Obviously, I know I want them to call with worse but it's just frustrating.
