Imo c/c is best on the flop and turn against aggressive opponent. River- I thought that he might call with flush^^

What flop would you like to see against overpair^^
I think that the opponent played it very good. Both times he made pot bets to protect his overpair, would you lay down a overpair against my river push:P

i think in hand 1 and 2 you pushed to much on the river. Try to find that limit where you get a call there. 1/2 pot is advised. That is what you did in hand three. Your bet was all in, but also about 1/2 pot. A smaller raise would've been very suspicious.

With the quads kings, you have to reraise the flop, because 30 cents is not enough imo, and it's you only chance for more value. All you got now is 60 cts. While if you reraised to 90 on the flop, he pretty much had to bet bigger on the turn, or he coulve checked, in which case you can bet 120 cts. for 1/2 pot. My experience is that slowplaying doesn't pay off as good as valuebetting.

Please post only a single hand per thread. Thanks.

      1. Well, he typically missed the board, but I'd just bet 2/3 PS as I always do. If he has a Flush draw, he will call very often... The problem is that if you don't build the pot, you have to make big overbets when the flush arrives and this looks scary on a paired board.

      2. nh - many players with an overpair make a call here to catch a bluff...

      3. Well, he definitely was commited... nh.

btw, how do you get all these quads? ;)
