Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)

      Known players:
      BU (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is BU with K, 8.
      MP1 folds, MP2 calls $0.02, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.07, 2 folds, MP2 calls $0.05.

      Flop: ($0.17) T, 5, A (2 players)
      MP2 checks, Hero bets $0.08, MP2 calls $0.08.

      Turn: ($0.33) J (2 players)
      MP2 checks, Hero bets $0.16, MP2 calls $0.16.

      River: ($0.65) 2 (2 players)
      MP2 checks, Hero bets $0.46, MP2 calls $0.46.

      Final Pot: $1.57.

      Results follow:

      MP2 shows a pair of jacks(Jd Qh).
Hero shows high card ace(Kh 8h).

MP2 wins with a pair of jacks(Jd Qh).

PF I isolate the fish who is 40/10.

I think flop is standard Cbet esp. w/flush draw.

On turn I decide to double-barrel to fold out KT, QT, JT, T9 and weak aces.

On the river I was tilted because no one was folding to my cbets =/ I think the only hand he would be calling me with is JT here, and he would probably ship it first with a set.

Should I have just shut down on the river? Was it OK to double-barrel?

i would fold it preflop or i will eventualy fold after they call my c-bet..its hard to make fish to give up his hand if he catch something, especialy on NL2

      as you played

flop i would bet a little bit biger like 0.14

turn would bet more if i want get some fold equity, like 0.25 or pot

      river pot bet

      hope i helped :)

      Hello jdnismo,

Preflop: Way too loose open-raise against that fish, somehow I wouldn't recommend it.

      As played
Flop: Yeah, you can likely bet here with your FD and also Ace board, he might even fold it right here.
Turn: But as he decided to Call the flop then he rarely will fold, since he is that loose, therefore I'd rather just Check behind and hope to catch something.

      As played
River: As he also Called the turn, I rarely see him folding here since he is such a fish, he is going to showdown very often, maybe even with Tx. Therefore I'd just give it up and wait for better spots.

If you see yourself tilting or doing bad moves then stop for few hours, for example post hands and evaluate in forums, watch videos, read articles or whatever helps you improve poker and then in few hours go back. Also attending in coachings helps also. :)

      Best regards.
