      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)

      Known players:
      MP2 = ($2.00)
      MP3 = ($2.39)
      CO (Hero) = ($2.28)
      BU = ($4.01)
      SB = ($0.68)
      BB = ($4.13)
      MP1 = ($2.00)

      Preflop: Hero is CO with T :spade: , A :heart: .
      MP1 calls $0.02, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.08, 3 folds, MP1 calls $0.06.

      Flop: ($0.19) 5 :spade: , 9 :heart: , 4 :spade: (2 players)
      MP1 checks, Hero bets $0.12, MP1 calls $0.12.

      Turn: ($0.43) 3 :spade: (2 players)
      MP1 checks, Hero checks.

      River: ($0.43) 8 :club: (2 players)
      MP1 checks, Hero checks.

      Final Pot: $0.43.
      Results follow:

      MP1 shows a pair of fours(A :spade: 4 :heart:) .
      Hero shows high card ace(T :spade: A :heart:) .

      MP1 wins with a pair of fours(A 4).

      Should I have continue to bet on turn since he didn´t show any strenght ? Well, I think I was afraid of the flush there. Could I try to steel the pot on the river or did I play well when I just checked the hand down ?

      I am just trying to follow the strategy expressed in the articles here on pokerstrategy - eg. there is written not to bluff again on turn when bluffing a flop. But ofc, nothing is written in stone ...

      It's definately fine to check back the turn. A straight completed and the flush completed too. It's ok to fire another barrel in the correct circumstances, but against the calling stations you'll find on NL2 you shouldn't. If you do want to bluff bet turns, bet when the card is bad for hands that just called the flop, not good for hands that just called the flop. A card like K :club: could be bet again here versus a decent regular.

      Hello acceleration123,

      Just one advice, "don't bluff in NL2". :) You will earn by that way a lot more money. Just Check/Fold till river as he Called your CBet. CBetting is fine.

      Best regards.
