      if you are so far ahead of his range in your opinion, then why didn't you reraise preflop?

      i think that range is very unrealistic, but if you think that that is his range, then you should reraise him. But i think his range is 66+/Ato+/Kts+ etc.

      ok, whatever suits you, but i think you should fold preflop, UNLESS you think you are ahead.

      bss=

      im most likely ahead, I RAISE!

      or

      i think i'm behind to his range, i fold!

      or i have implied odds to call this: i call!

      calling with reverse implied odds is just not done. You are getting in trouble when you hit your a, and you are getting in trouble when you hit your j, because you have no idea where you stand. The only thing you are calling for is the made straight.

      In this particular situation, villain could easily have had sometin like at, and making a continuation bet. But the problem is, that he could also be holding aa, kk, qq, tt etc. because you don't have any information about his hand. So it's fine to reraise villain with this hand, if he raises too much, and i very loose. But against a regular or tag opponents you simply have to fold, because the hand is too much trouble.

      Thats also why it sometimes is good to call with semimosters like qq or jj. They are strong hands before the flop, but also carry some good implied odds with them! Hence the call15 rule on a reraised pot.

      Preflop 3bet has no use

      Text results appended to pokerstove.txt

      2,630,098,944 games 1.172 secs 2,244,111,726 games/sec

      Board:
      Dead:

      equity win tie pots won pots tied
      Hand 0: 53.540% 49.54% 04.00% 1302861252 105289662.00 { 22+, 65s, A8o+ }
      Hand 1: 46.460% 42.46% 04.00% 1116658368 105289662.00 { AJo }

      I dun like a call either. Villains line is very weird, c/r when ur the preflop agressor, so this is either a bluff or a monster. Therefor i would reraise to 9 and fold to a shove. If he calls, i check turn behind and call most rivers.

      Did i say never? Offcourse at the higher limits and against maniacs go ahead and 3bet. But in this specific situation with no reads, 3betting aint that sweet imo.
