Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      CO (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, J.
      UTG1 folds, UTG2 raises to $0.06, MP1 calls $0.06, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, 4 folds, MP1 calls $0.24.

      Flop: ($0.69) 4, 8, A (2 players)
      MP1 bets $0.20, Hero calls $0.20.

      Turn: ($1.09) 4 (2 players)
      MP1 bets $0.54, Hero calls $0.54.

      River: ($2.17) 3 (2 players)
      MP1 checks, Hero checks.

      Final Pot: $2.17.

      Results follow:

Hero shows two pairs, aces and fours(Ah Jc).
      MP1 shows a pair of fours(Ts Qd).

Hero wins with two pairs, aces and fours(Ah Jc).

Was scared of stronger Ax but not enough to fold with odds given. Check on river by villain is very weak, should I shove for value?

      Hello ExMagnusxL,

Preflop: Actually I don't really like the 3bet here at all without any good reason and since you didn't give any then I'd rather just fold it, since we don't really want to play such hands in multiway pot and often we will not know either our Ace is strong enough with our kicker or not.

      As played
Postflop: As we 3bet preflop then likely we have also to Call it here against those kind of small bets. And I wouldn't ship it on river, since there aren't that many worse which may Call us, just Check behind and hope to be ahead.

      Best regards.
