      Grabbed by Holdem Manager
      NL Holdem $0.25(BB) Replayer
      SB ($36.39)
      BB ($25.35)
      UTG ($25)
      UTG+1 ($37.16)
      Hero ($46.71)
      BTN ($20.89)

      Dealt to Hero J:spade: J:club:

UTG raises to $0.85, fold, Hero calls $0.85, BTN calls $0.85, SB calls $0.75, BB calls $0.60

      FLOP ($4.25) 7:diamond: 4:heart: 2:spade:

SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets $3.23, Hero folds, BTN folds, SB folds, BB folds

      UTG wins $4.04

      UTG 11/9/4 45 hands
      BTN: 55/25/1.8
      SB: 19/12/8 43 hands
      BB: 33/20/2.7

I folded to cbet because UTG is such nit, raised from early position and cbet into many opponents. I could beat 88-TT, but the question is if he plays them from UTG.

      Hello SPeedFANat1c,

Nah, I totally agree with your thoughts and for the given reason that it's 6max and with such stats just = nit, he wont have there a worse pair that often. Rather folding is a lot safer. Nice hand!

      Best regards.

I probably call once since Im a fish, but we are always folding on the turn if he bets again, so unless you have reads that he bets once with Ak/AQ and always gives up on the turn, then folding on the flop is solid and disciplined.

Vs such a nit, you are basically calling for set value since you cant 3b for value - so no need to get wedded to your overpair on the flop.

I think the other great difficulty in this spot is that, 5way, you cant even be sure you are ahead since SB or BB could ch/R a set and there is still BU to act...
