I think it`s ok, because if he doesn`t have any miracle cards like 53) in his range, than you have quite equity...

      let`s calculate equity for push:
i tried this range 22-99, AQs-ATs, KJs+, AQo-AJo, KJo+ and here you have 55% of equity.. to push on flop you need more than 40% of equity... i think you wiill have it nearly with any range... + fold equity
So call is ok here, but still seems like push is better)

      ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On other hand i have a strange (new) thought in my head, which says that basically on lower limits they can re-raise you with any trash as they love to do, while they can fold this trash if you push) so there might be some light reason to cbet (and call) instaed of pushing when you have strong draw (AK + gutshot + backdoor flush) and stack:pot ratio as big as you have it in your example - 9BB pot and 18BB stack, since you may induce some bluff...
In this case you are giving up your fold equity, but they might pay it off)
but I think it`s too tricky for NL 50 and will barely work on NL 200)
so i`ll let it stay as a thought)

Its ok here, but with $3.80 left after his re-raise you also could consider to fold here. Problem is, if you know that he is raising any made hand here, so not just Trips here. Because then its ok. We have a drawless board here, so he must something, that he raises here.

Only possiblity is to check first on the flop, after the 2$ bet, 4$ reraise, 2.35$ in the pot, its now 4:1 just 6 outs is enough to call.

      I had just 2.45 left, not 3.8.
