      BTN ($58.20)

      Dealt to Hero 7:spade: A:spade:

fold, UTG+1 raises to $1.50, fold, BTN calls $1.50, Hero calls $1.25, fold

      FLOP ($5) 8:diamond: 7:diamond: A:diamond:

Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $3, BTN folds, Hero raises to $10, UTG+1 raises to $86.60 (AI), Hero calls $40.15 (AI)

      TURN ($105) 8:diamond: 7:diamond: A:diamond: 2:diamond:

      villain 20/16/2, wts 38, 405 hands.

      Whats our best line?

ch/c and raise on safe turn or get the money in on the flop. Since the A :diamond: is out there, I reasoned the number of flush combos was smaller...

It looks like tricky spot. I would just fold or raise pre-flop. Don´t like your call. (especially cause u are OOP). If he has this kind range then we are in bad shape. So ch/f or ch/r/fold. Looks weird...

I think pf call is fine, if you´re willing to take initiative a lot of pots
I would also prefer leading that board, since some players would raise there any AK/AQ thinking I have draw and would also stack off if I shove
c/r usually looks stronger and he may fold weaker Ax hands if he doesn´t have there diamond, but with AJ he would likely call me down 3 streets if turn and river are blanks

BUt why we still call him pre-flop. Do we want to play that hand OOP vs decent range, against what we are not doing good?

Pre is ok imo although we could squeeze.

As played I like the c/r on the flop because UTG+1 will cbet a lot with his Ax in which case we can c/r and get way more money into the pot against a range willing to call.
Also he can easily bluffcbet so we collect more dead money.

Once he shoves I agree with kevvu that his range most likely crushes us, so I'd also fold.
