      Hi

My son has been playing poker over the years now with his friends at our home and theirs, also he plays online. He got alot of them involved in the game as it was his grandfather (my farther) whom started playing poker/stud/omaha with him in his early teens years for something they can do to bond.. My son then got his girlfriend involved into the poker just recently but before then her and I would talk about how much of his time he puts into it.. we did get a little worried over time thinking it was just a faze.. she then got my daughter playing with her on the weekend when she stays :) then thats when I come in, I too used to play with my farther but never as much as them.

Soo when my sons girlfriend told me about this site which he introduced to her, then her to me :) I thought hey where can I go wrong??

I do have a good understanding of the game but well I will just have to see how I go..

I live in New Zealand and in the last 3 threes I have seen a great increase of poker on the television ( lol how could I not when my son watches every poker show on tube) watching the people on television play I think wow what a crazy bet at times, but then again think thats why they are in that postion playing on tv..

I am a stay at home mother and this maybe a little something to gain some extra spending money for me so I will try my best to keep up!

Seeing the guide about bankroll, At first i was confused but then my daughter explained it all to me. I have alot of time on my hands this summer and what more enjoyable thing to do then relax in the sun and play some games :)

Soo I guess Poker isnt just for the young kids out there!!!

      *well thats mee

Ok, now I'm convinced: You Kiwis beat the Americans when it comes to being crazy about poker - we've got your whole family then, haven't we? Welcome to the community, I hope you'll enjoy your stay :) Whereabouts do you play then?
