      Hello diversfx,

Kinda hard to read such a hand but I will try to give my best.

Preflop: A5s from UTG? Just fold it!

      As played
Postflop: Kinda close, since I don't really see the pot sizes or anything I think betting sizes should be somehow fine, although on turn I'd bet bigger. Otherwise I'd rather just Check it on turn, not many worse will Call you anyways there.

      Best regards.

This was early in the session, so I was using this hand as information gathering kind of hand. Also what I had seen was very weak play and no idea of value betting. Lots of limp bet fold.

Is this a bad idea in general?

What worse do you want get Called on river? And also yes, this kind of raise preflop is very bad, you just ain't have that good postflop skills and also not that many stats or reads on the opponent.

I tend to gamble more then I should, one of the things i am working on.The turn bet was a defensive /value bet against the drw wanted to end it right there.I also but a queen/under pr in his range for a call. As say QJ is within most players range.

It's just hard to imagine him floating with Qx that often on flop, of course few GS there are but still, kinda hard to put him on, and ain't worth to risk with our money. But of course it's doable.

The gambling time will disappear with time, don't worry. Just keep posting your hands and try to fix your leaks. Also please could you try posting a colored hand next time? :f_biggrin: What are you using for convert, I mean where did you take this hand, from poker site hand history?
