      Hello muel294,

Yeps, against such a over-bet more often it's a not so strong hand, therefore nice hand! He may do such a donk there as well with Qx which is scared you hitting the flush. Also note him down. Although if he is more passive opponent and doesn't donk that often then you sometimes might even consider folding better.

      Best regards.

against the above range ( AcXx,sets, made flushes and nut flush draws and some semi bluffs) I am still 66%, so I'm roughly 3:1 fav against the stronger proportion of his range I think, so this would appear pretty trivial then?

villain is a REG and a Nit from experience

      (vpip/PFR/AF/Hands) 12.55/2.75/1.16/2582

only plays the nuts, I figured he might have AcXx due to the overbet and he 100% 3 bets pre with AA from experience.

He said after that his flop bet was a level and presumably knew I would likely have QQ+ AQs+ and would likely go broke here.

what would you do in future vs this type of player? Apply my minimal range and only get stack off with the nuts and generally play for pot control otherwise?

I am still crushing his range here though aren't I?

      Cheers Veriz

Yeah likely, he mostly has a very strong hand if we take into account his AF. He only does Bet with the good hands there and rarely with bluff or anything similar. Also I don't think that he even is betting flushdraws and such there.

Not really. Not against such an opponent. More often I see here a made hand like set or a flush already, rather than just a draw. And against those ranges you don't have that much equity. Therefore I'd prefer to just fold it there for the given reason that he ain't betting there oftentimes with a lot worse. We likely only beat Qx there with what he is betting. and often times this ain't the case. And we can't Call either since he is making such an overpair. Hopefully it helped.
