      River: ($3.89) 2:diamond: (2 players)
      MP1 checks, Hero bets $2.91, MP1 calls $2.91

Do you think i should bet bigger on the turn here? gives him 3to1 on a call so with implied odds he can call to hit his flush. At the time i was just hoping for a call with my set. The river i bet 3/4 of the pot which i think was ok. What do you think?

      Hello ockerdoc,

Preflop: Depends a lot on the opponent, sometimes as well I like to just Call it and play it postflop, but obvious such a 3bet is totally fine if you have reason to do that.

      As played
Flop: I'd just Bet it here, ain't worth to check back. We have also the plan to get their whole stack not just half stack, for getting whole stack we need to bet on every street.

As played if flop was checked back
Turn: Definitely bet it bigger, ~$1,70.

As played if turn was bet smallish
River: As we but him on flush and didn't get maximum value from him and if he is going to showdown pretty often, I'd even consider shoving directly if I see him as a bad player who is capable of Calling with a lot worse and sometimes might even come up with a flush. But if not then at least bet a bit bigger, ~$3,30 or something similar.

Overall, you missed a lot of value. :)

      Best regards.
