      BB: $2.00
      UTG: $16.71
      Hero (UTG+1): $10.79
      MP: $8.00
      MP+1: $13.56
      CO: $3.34
      BTN: $28.15
      SB: $10.50

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

      Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has K:diamond: A:heart:

fold, Hero raises to $0.40, fold, fold, fold, BTN calls $0.40, fold, fold

      Flop: ($0.95, 2 players) K:club: Q:heart: 4:heart:
Hero bets $0.51, BTN calls $0.51

      Turn: ($1.97, 2 players) 7:heart:
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      River: ($1.97, 2 players) Q:diamond:
      Hero checks, BTN bets $1.97

This is one of the first hands at the table, so I know very little about villain, but judging from his stack he has been either lucky or aggressive so far.
I'm really not sure what to do from the turn and on.

you´re not b/f your hand, so I think b/c or c/c are both fine options
You can check river, but then you have to call his potsixe bet, since you have shown weakness on the turn and river and he can easily pot there any floats that he thinks isn´t good on the river. Sometimes he have there Qx, but with tptk I´d rather tend go to showdown.
Another option would be bet river yourself 1$ and then fold to raise, since I don´t expect players to bluffraise river
