      Hi there!

Is this very common on NL2? I just haven't played a lot (only ~4K hands)

very 1st hand and this guy shoves on me.

My thought process: from time to time I've seen players doing this with small pockets (66 and lower) and all non-paired broadways, so I thought this could be close to coinflip that I might be favourite in.(What do you say about this?)

What If let's say I have AQ in this spot vs complete unknown? I assumed I call here 99+ AQ+; right? wrong?

      UTG ($0.41)
      CO ($1.86)
      BTN ($1.66)
      SB ($2.42)
      Hero (BB) ($2.50)

      Pre-Flop: ($0.03, 5 players) Hero is BB 9 9
      2 folds, BTN goes all-in $1.66, 1 fold, Hero calls $1.64

      Flop: 8 Q K ($3.33, 2 players, 1 all-in)

      Turn: 5 ($3.33, 2 players, 1 all-in)

      River: 4 ($3.33, 2 players, 1 all-in)

      Final Pot: $3.33
Hero shows a pair of Nines
      9 9
BTN shows a pair of Eights
      8 J

      Hero wins $3.17 (net +$1.51)

      BTN lost $1.66

      Hello miljonszalie,

Since his stack is pretty big and we haven't seen him doing such moves earlier I'd say just fold it for the 1st time, I'd Call here like JJ+, AK or something similar if we are against unknown. Ain't worth to take the coinflip, sometimes maybe even far behind.

      Best regards.
