      Hello cutegoldfish,

I'd raise flop bigger, ~$1,50 and likely fold it on river, he more often has us beat there. Which just tries to gain maximum value from us while he tried to Check/Raise on turn and what didn't work out. I rarely see him doing such an overbet with just 2pairs or anything like that.

      Best regards.

i thought that he would be capable of doing it with an A pair hands like AK or AQ given that he raised UTG

      Howdy,

Problem with AK type of hands is he has pretty tough time calling with them on flop against your raise plus board isn't really the best for overbetting river when there's 4 card straight out there. You may see some crazy hands here, but against unknown I think it's safer to fold against such a bet.

      Good luck!

Do you really think that he would bet there for value with just TP? And bet for value I mean over-bet? I rarely see them picking such a line with just TP, therefore I don't really like it. Unless he really didn't see that there are already 4 cards which on board which can give 2ways straights. Either with 5 or T.
