      NL Holdem $0.10(BB) Full Tilt

      Hero ($17.49)
      UTG+1 ($16.02)
      UTG+2 ($9.50)
      MP1 ($3.35)
      CO ($18.15)
      BTN ($10)

      Dealt to Hero K:club: A:heart:

Hero raises to $0.30, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, SB raises to $0.90, fold, Hero calls $0.60

      FLOP ($1.90) K:heart: 8:heart: 8:diamond:

SB bets $1.90, Hero calls $1.90

      TURN ($5.70) K:heart: 8:heart: 8:diamond: 3:spade:

SB bets $5.70, Hero raises to $11.40, SB calls $1.97 (AI)

Is this the correct play, no reads on opponent as he just joined table.

Im feeling he is overbetting because he has QQs or something similar not kings or Aces but i don't know.
Have i made the right decision to get it in?

      Hello Wacko118,

Preflop: Without any good reason, I'd just fold to the raise. Although if you think that you can play it profitable against him then sure, you can give a try.

      As played
Postflop: As you Called, you can't really do much than go broke. You kinda hit the best card you could consider hitting. Also it's a 3bet pot.

      Best regards.

      Howdy,

I'd say calling is reasonable if we have some information and reason to call against particular opponent (like he 3bets AQ/AJ etc.) as we can't just call a 3bet as standard against an unknown and expect to hit - we will miss often and even if we hit K we won't always win plus he will often give up on A/K high flops so we won't be able to stack his JJ/QQ hands aswell etc.
Although I don't seem calling preflop IP to be so bad I think it's doable but just think about situations you will get in when you call.

      Good luck!

For the reason that you didn't mention why you did Call. And with just Calling you wont play those hands profitable. You have to take stabs postflop against them and even sometimes bluff when you don't miss. For that you will need information to make it profitable.
