I was trapping preflop, i called the turn which wasnt too bad for me, and then, i hit the river...and he overbets twice the pot. I was almost 90% sure it is quads, i'm almost 100% sure i had to call, but after a losing session, im not sure about anything:)

AJ isn´t really that kind of monster that you should trap pf, but if you afraid 4-bet or want to keep in worse Ax hands, then call is also fine.
Most players won´t open 2x from the sb, so i think he doesn´t have there quads, he may have 44, but also may valuebet Jx hand. Since his river bet is not that big I think I´d also call with boat. never can be sure when someone is going crazy 56 or smt

      Hello Absolutism,

Preflop: I don't mind Calling at all preflop depends on the opponent. Sometimes I like as well 3betting here.
Postflop: I'd just bet the flop since the Checking often times shows weakness and we taking down the pot with just a bet, otherwise seems to be fine. Not many combos beat us anyways. Although it's damn close on river for the reason that he is making such an overbet. We often times are calling for the split.

      Best regards.
