The list of these Players have been taken from the 2010 event. Is there one person still missing from this List as the Deal was done for the top 50 or have ye left out the winner of the Main event due to the 10,000euro sponsorship Deal?

I have done some research and all I have gotten is that there are 300 Direct cash buy ins so Far .With a registration fee of twenty five percent instead of ten percent I was wondering will a complimentary meal and Beverage be provided?

Will the Pay Out structure be reduced from 10% of the field to 5% of the field like it was done the previous Year ?
If you have only 30,000 Euro collected so far how can you guarantee 60,000 E Let alone Estimate 100,000E ?
The starting Stack gives me alot of room to maneuver at15,000. So this is enticing. If registration starts at 2pm what time does the tournament start at 5/6pm ? As I cannot locate this information.

Look forward to hearing back from you

      Hi RGOD2,

Are you referring to the POKER IN THE PUB event that is being held in Killarney this weekend?

As far as I know there are loads of qualifiers from the pub tourneys held by Poker in the Pub that took place at various pubs around the country for the past few months so that will add to the prize pool, I'm guessing these were like satellites to the main event hence there is definitely going to be at least 600 players thereby a guaranteed of €60,000 would not be difficult to achieve.

Good luck in the event if you decide to take part.

Myself I will probably give this one a skip seeing as I'm stuck at work till 10pm tonight and never made arrangements for leave oops :f_grin:

Might go play some cash games at the local casinos in Dublin during the weekend and hopefully find a few fish :D

Well there are a few places I play at although its been sometime since I've played.

I mostly play at Fitzwilliams (best tourneys in my opinion, they also offer Pot Limit cash games)

The Jackpot - Sometimes play Pot Limit Cash games there but not to fond of the place and the dealers have a tendency to be half a sleep at times and not sure if they understand the rules(not all of them but there are a few).

Voodoo Card Club - Although it looks rather dodgy they offer a NL cash game and the players are really weak blinds are 1/1(which kind of defeats the purpose of SB and BB ?( ). Played 1 tourney there before and got donked out when I reraised a guys raise with a set on the flop and he shoved with a flush draw that completed on the river. I had him covered but just barely, that's the sort of competition in the cash games as well. They chase a draw all the way to the river, bare in mind not everyone does that and there is a goodish player here and there.

The Sporting Emporium - Although I've only played there a few times its a rather nice place and atmosphere, but it does not have enough games running as very few people go there to play poker and on the down side you need to pay a reg fee before joining which is a joke(I payed mine after a drinking session after a work function when a few of us decided to play poker and that was the closest place at the time).

Last but not least D1, located in Lower Dorset Street - I plan on checking the place out this weekend i think they offer NL games by the looks of the website 50c/€1 blinds I also heard there are loads of fish there $$$$$$

How about yourself where do you play?

      Thanks for the info,
I have always wanted to find a place where to play NL.

I play or used to play since it has been a while in the fitz, mostly their tourneys.

Let me know how is D1 if you go this week end.

I had to skip it myself due to the 14 hrs Notice I got even though I won a Ticket Last year for coming 30th out of 807 players .
Another useless piece of paper . Thank god that these Posts are on digital format as I would consider this a useless piece of paper too . :D :
