      it was very likely he was calling down with a K or J. the check on the river usually indicates weakness rather than a check-raise setup

      i would value bet the river about 7-10 dollars.

      Hello marvinsytan,

      Depends a lot on the opponent, if he is some kind of station then I'd rather as well prefer betting the river, although just Checking behind there is as well fine. Since there are just so many combos which give 2pairs and as well straights. Although often time I expect him to shove himself with straight, that could also give us the information that he somehow has a weak hand. Overall Checking is totally fine.
