Craziness. I cant think of a hand someone would open shove here that I am not beating. He can have something like KQ/QJ clubs. Is it standard to call this off or is the risk too high?

      Known players:
      Position:
      Stack
      Hero:
      $11.36
      UTG2:
      $5.14
      MP1:
      $10
      CO:
      $4.07

      0.05/0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Elephant.Base 0.98 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is BB with T:club: , 7:club:
      UTG1 folds, UTG2 calls $0.10, MP1 calls $0.10, 2 folds, CO calls $0.10, 2 folds, Hero checks.

      Flop: ($0.45) T:heart: , 8:club: , 3:club: (4 players)
      Hero checks, UTG2 raises $5.04 (All-In), 2 folds, Hero calls $5.04.

      Turn: ($10.53) 5:diamond:
      River: ($10.53) 6:club: (2 players)

      Final Pot: $10.53

      Hello Meemawuk,

Overall, you should earn negative profit since we need like 48% equity there to make the Call profitable. But for example against this range:

      Equity Win Tie Loss Hand
      Player 1: 43,727% 43,351% 0,752% 55,897% Tc7c
      Player 2: 56,273% 55,897% 0,752% 43,351% KK+, 88, ATs, T8s, ATo, T8o

We don't get it. And it can still happen that he is pushing there with such a range. So I'd rather just fold it, we haven't invested like anything into the pot. Ain't worth unless we know the opponent better.

      Best regards.

Yeah he had 88 and I got lucky. I just don't see why people overbet shove with such strong hands.

If we include T8o can we include T3 in his range? What about JT, QT, KT? You seem to assign him a tight range for a guy who shoves 10X the pot. I am often more inclined to thing such irrational plays aren't that strong. Clearly they are!

I put the T8 just to make the range a bit wider, not with the idea that he has like that loose range there. Just take a look at his stats, I don't really think that he would Call there with T3. And in such spots I wouldn't even be surprised when he came out with 88. Just make a note. :) Likely was scared of any kind of draw.
