      Hey,

Should I have slowed down on the flop here, knowing I could be beat already? Very annoying hand for me, because I realised as I bet I probably shouldn't because I would be beat, but also because he played it so stupidly imo, calling the re-raise pre flop.

Anyway, your opinion would be great :)

      Thanks

Literally about 2 hands after on a different table I lost about $1.50 due to pocket kings again :\

Pocket kings just are not my friends today...

      Hi Jim4rdo,

Don't focus to the results. I would surely raise the flop because it isn't always an ace and with your pre-flop actions you can easily represent that ace high board is good for you. Since you were raising from BU he could possibly min 3bet with hands like TT, maybe 99, according to his 1bb bets on flop and turn he could min 3bet JJ,QQ also. Of course when he calls raise on flop I no longer think that he would give up and I would shift to defensive mode and try to see cheap showdown.

      Hello Jim4rdo,

Since there aren't that many draws on flop you may as well just Call, the problem with raise is that there aren't just many worse hands. Otherwise I'd also Call the small bet on turn.

      Best regards.
